TF2030

Participate in your Tourism Future.

The Sapphire Coast Tourism Future 2030 program has been designed to bring us together to ensure our region benefits from the unique opportunities we have to grow.

It is a three part, sequentially linked, experience development and capacity building program consisting of a forum and networking dinner, a range of skill and development masterclasses designed to directly assist business and a mentoring program giving selected businesses access to work one-on-one with industry professionals to bring new or improved experiences and products to market.

The program will guide businesses on how to build capacity to capture some of the unprecedented growth in international visitation to Australia and share in the bounty of the rapidly growing cruise sector. It will introduce businesses to new opportunities in domestic and niche markets. Each part of the program will build on the stage before.

The outcomes? New and improved tourism experiences and products driving more visitors to our region.

Tourism Future 2030 Mentoring Program

(February to May 2019)

The mentoring program is the final stage of the 2018/19 program. Around 450 hours of one-on-one mentoring will assist selected businesses and guide them through a business development program, specifically tailored to their business goals and requirements.

The selected mentees will have the opportunity to work through the implementation of planning exercises completed through the Masterclasses, and have opportunities to review and gain independent feedback from their Mentor.

The outcomes will be tourism businesses within the Sapphire Coast region that have identified opportunities for growth of their business and innovation in their product offering, based on the region’s collective targets and vision.

By the end of the period, the businesses will have the new products or experiences on offer for sale, packaged and saleable to key target markets.

To be able to participate in the mentoring program you must attend at least one Masterclass. A panel including Sapphire Coast Destination Marketing, Cruise Eden and Masterclass presenters will choose participants in the mentoring program.
