Our old cabinets can now be repurposed for storage elsewhere and our office looks homier. Thanks, Beth! We started this week with some math, as we measured rooms and calculated square feet. (See? We always say that we never know what we'll get to do while we're at GG. Sometimes it's baking, sometimes it's adventures in numbers!) Then we had a supply shopping trip with Miss Jill - always a good time. Of course, we had to spend time in the greenhouse as well. Our beautiful growing sprouts need tending and watering daily. On Tuesday, we celebrated Tori's birthday with good food, good friends, and cupcakes. As always, we had a great time together. Happy Birthday, Tori!! Much of this week was spent deep cleaning. So far, we've deep cleaned the sanctuary, the kitchen, the pastor's office, and the hallway to the unfinished room. This odd time of year where it might feel like winter or it might seem like spring is a great time to tackle all those germs and dust bunnies! We did take a break from cleaning to indulge our urge to beak and enjoy some homemade bread. Delicious! Today we met Bridget, from All About the Pawz dog rescue. We were honored when she reached out to say that she is a fan of our jams and wondered if we could donate a basket for the fundraiser they are having on Sunday in Columbiana at Birdfish from 1-5pm. Of course we said yes! All the proceeds from the event will go toward vet care and needed supplies for the shelter. We think helping animals is pretty important! You can check out the event HERE. Next week will be a short week as we are closed on Monday for Presidents' Day. | Jungle Jam & Juicy Jam Always available here at GG as well as in Salem at Reach for the STARS, and in Columbiana at Living Luxe Designs and ill will.
