Have you heard of Rae Dunn dishes? Ya know, those trendy, white farmhouse looking dishes with the tall, skinny lettering? I'm sure you've seen them before especially if you lurk Instagram.

They look like this...

RD Tea Mug

They're great to use as photo props too. Perfect for my Valentine's Tea Bag post.

Anyways, I sorta got a little carried away over the last few weeks trying to build my collection. I've came to my senses now. I still love it all but I am NOT gonna wait out side Home Goods for the store to open like it's Black Friday, Yes, that's what it had come too.

So, the few times I actually did wait outside the locked doors, I'm sizing up the other gals waiting thinking, are you a Dunn collector? What's my best strategy to get over to the dish section first? That gals got a kid. She's gonna spend some time putting it in the cart. True, all those thoughts went though my mind.

Anyways, for all my insane attempts, only once did I score some good pieces and instead of being a "shelf cleaner" like some other Dunn collectors are, I shared my score with the other two gals I beat to it. Here's my Valentine set up I shared on Instagram. Those Valentine pieces were totally worth the effort tho and for being really late to work..... shhhh.

RD Mugs

Don't get me wrong, I am still on the the lookout for pieces such as plates, the POUR pitcher and of course my unicorn piece...the COFFEE canister . I know, the prices are ridiculous on Amazon. I mean, all they are is mass produced clay dishes. But they are sooo pretty!

Valentines Candy Box Wrappers

Anyways, since I stepped away from my Rae Dunn Crazy Train, I was able to create a Valentine's Day project this week. Since Valentine's Day is only a week away, here is a creative way to make those little boxes of chocolates special by embellishing them with wood paper. Yes,wood paper! Gift giving is all about the presentation, right?

I'd love to hear if you happen to be on the Rae Dunn Crazy Train too or maybe, just maybe you happen to have an extra POUR or COFFEE canister laying around for me... for a reasonable price of course.
