Bob (Boise State Univ. 1982) & Colleen (Northwest Nazarene Univ. 1981) Skinner started as global missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene in 1990 in the Philippines. The Philippines had been home for Colleen who grew up there with missionary parents, Dr. Ron & Neva Beech. It became her home again as she returned with Bob & 4-month old son Robby.
The Skinner's served in the Philippines (working in local church development) for nearly 5 years and welcomed their second son Michael in Manila.
The Skinner's transferred to Kiev, Ukraine in 1995. There was then just one established Nazarene church. After 17 years in this former Communist country there were over 20 Nazarene churches, 8 drug & alcohol rehab centers, trained local leaders, 4 children's homes for abandoned kids & street kids, HIV/AIDs ministries & multiple ministries to the entire gamut of society, including our own Ukraine Nazarene Medical Team.
In 2012 the Skinner's transferred to Budapest, Hungary. Bob assists in Hungary & focuses on church development in Poland. The vision is to find where & how God is working and join Him!
