Dear Tennis Player

NYC Department of Parks and Recreation will soon finalize their decision whether or not to continue tennis underneath the Queensboro Bridge (aka Sutton East Tennis Club) beyond August 31. These courts have existed for over 40 years and have been enjoyed by tens of thousands of New Yorkers. If these courts are removed then the largest public indoor tennis facility in Manhattan will be no more and over 65 people will no longer have a paycheck.

Tens of thousands of tennis players ages three to senior citizens use these courts year round including thousands of NYC parks permit holders over the last two summers. Let the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation know how valuable these courts are to tennis players, families and children from all over NYC. Tell NYC Department of Parks and Recreation that you support indoor tennis underneath the Queensboro Bridge!

TO ENSURE THESE COURTS REMAIN, THERE ARE TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO DO RIGHT AWAY:

1. MOST IMPORTANT: The politicians below MUST hear from you. It is imperative that you call and send them a note letting them know what a valuable resource these courts are.
2. Sign and make a comment on our Online Petition. Also please forward to all of your family and friends to sign who support tennis.
