Join Kaleideum for the Grand Opening of Children’s China

Take an overseas adventure in Kaleideum’s newest exhibit Children's China: Celebrating Culture, Character, and Confucius. This interactive exhibit explores what life is like for young people in China through six different immersive environments.

The Grand Opening for Children's China is Saturday, January 27, from 10 am-Noon. Explore the sounds of China with the Winston-Salem Symphony. Interact with an Instrument Petting Zoo to see and hear the different instruments of the Chinese orchestra, as well as the traditional Western orchestra. In addition, a short presentation of an exciting children's book, Summoning the Phoenix by Emily Jiang, explores poems and prose about Chinese musical instruments. Children's China will be open at Kaleideum Downtown from January 27-April 23, 2018.
