Kurt Fearnley is one of Australia’s most well known & respected athletes.
Kurt has always been determined. Being born without the lower portion of his spine has never held him back. Kurt has had some massive achievements in his life.
Winning some of the worlds most prestigious marathons, he won the Paralympic men’s wheelchair marathon in Athens in 2004 and retained his title in Beijing in 2008. In Athens he also won gold over the 5000m on the track.
Off the racing circuit Kurt has also been a winning crew member of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, however he is most well known for his amazing feat of crawling the 96km Kokoda Track with the Kokoda Spirit Team.
Yesterday Kurt released his autobiography "Pushing The Limits" and we would like to congratulate Kurt on this fantastic release which will be an amazing read for all !

The girls have been crossing Kokoda in aid of breast cancer since 2007 and each year the event attracts some very determined and like minded woman who are not afraid of a little mud, the occasionally mozzie, rain and sore legs.
