EMW'16 is the startup event of the year in Hawaii - bringing together investors and entrepreneurs  from Asia,  Hawai`i and North America. Speakers and participants from around the region will come to Honolulu for deal-making, learning, and networking. For the first time, Blue Startups is partnering with Mobile Challenge Asia Pacific (MCAP), a regional competition bringing together 30 of the hottest new mobile startups and early-stage ventures from 10 countries in the Asia Pacific region.  

The Mobile Challenge Asia Pacific is organized by J-Seed Ventures and IE Business School in conjunction with GSMA. The regional finals at East Meets West will feature the top three ventures from semifinal rounds in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Hawaii. Three winners from East Meets West will go on to Mobile World in Barcelona, Spain. MCAP finals in Hawaii are made possible by the generous sponsorship of Hawaii Strategic Development Corporation and the State of Hawaii.
