Girls Wellness & Yoga Workshop

Register your 9-11 year old girls in the two day Shine and Align Wellness and Yoga Winter Break Workshop at the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Thurs. – Fri., December 22-23, 9am-2pm. Girls will be empowered to make healthy lifestyle choices in a safe and non-competitive space. Participants will learn how to prepare healthy dishes in the Edible Schoolyard kitchen, explore self-care techniques like meditation, reflection and journaling. Each day will begin and end with yoga, led by Katie Page, owner of Wren’s Nest. Participants will receive recipes, copies of yoga practices, and new tools for focusing, managing stress, and maintaining healthy relationships. REGISTER HERE!

SuperTots Sports Academy

Winter Physical development classes are starting soon with SuperTots Sports Academy! Classes are for children 18 months - 5 years of age. Their philosophy focuses on improving gross & fine motor skills, spatial awareness, listening skills, and introducing children to the joy of athletics at a young age. They have a professionally developed curriculum that incorporates a variety of fun games to delight, and engage kids in physical activity. Classes are held at Proehlific Park, Griffin Recreation Center, and the Winston-Salem SoccerPlex. Classes are posted online at www.SuperTotSports.com.
