All leftover cookies will be used for Christmas Eve on Tuesday. | Adam's Big News Adam’s last day preaching here is on Christmas Eve. Starting this month, Adam will preach monthly at North Lima Mennonite Church. In September, he will become a part time pastor at there, working on ordination, while continuing to work for Wycliffe Bible Translators. We thank Adam and his family for being a part of our church family and wish them well on their new adventures! Thank you for all the awesome donations to our YG Christmas project to benefit the kids at Akron Children's Hospital! | Christmas Eve Service ~ December 24th at 3:30pm Come Worship with us during our afternoon service, complete with special music and candle-lighting. We volunteered at Whispering Pines, dropped all the donations off at Akron Children's Hospital, and went grocery shopping. It was a day full of holiday spirit! The rest of the week has been equally festive and fun-filled. Tuesday brought our cooking day with Sue. We all enjoyed chicken fajitas, salsa and chips, and rice. We will miss our Tuesday lunches over this holiday break! Kelly came to visit on Wednesday, which brightened everyone's week. It is always a joy to have a special visitor like our Miss Kelly! We will end the week with a Christmas party on Friday to celebrate the season. Then, we will be on break until January 2, 2020. Come see us in the new year! We dropped off the many boxes and bags on Monday morning. Your donations will, in part, be used to brighten the Christmas morning of all the children who must wake up that day in the hospital. Or do you feed the birds? If so, please help on December 21 and December 28 with the annual Christmas bird count sponsored by the Audubon Society. The idea is simple: we count all of the birds we see during a one-day span in a designated circle. On December 21, we will count the birds in a circle that is centered in Beaver Creek State Park; the December 28 count is in a circle situated in Salem. Those two circles encompass a large swath of the county. If you're interested in participating, either in the field or at your feeder, call 330-268-1128. | MAKE! Gingerbread Edition at Oh Wow!
