Hello! Happy loooooong Labor Day weekend!

Well, one week of school down for our girls. We have officially left behind the elementary years, with our youngest starting 6th grade at the middle school. And our oldest is a junior at the high school.
With a drivers license.
And a school parking permit.
Ack.
I just can't believe we are at this point in our lives already!

We don't have too much going on this holiday weekend. Blake and I spent most of yesterday doing yard work. Hatti has been getting in some work hours. And we're having a few friends over for a bonfire tonight.

Thank you so much for joining us here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. We are grateful for your company.

Wishing you an awesome (and delicious!) rest of your weekend!
Brenda

This recipe for Refrigerator Sweet Pickles comes from my mom, and it's the perfect way to preserve all those fresh end-of-summer garden cucumbers. The sweet pickles come together in quick and easy fashion, with a short list of ingredients. And there’s no need for any fancy equipment!
