Songs of The Mid North.
Following on from the success of HATS Adelaide Song Project Hats has spread its wings and will be presenting for the very first time their latest HATs music project ‘Songs of the Mid North’, featuring some exciting and brand new songs, exploring the life, history and identity of SA’s Mid North Region…from Goyder’s line, to Bob the Railway Dog, from Wheat & Copper to Windmills and Wine… Songs of the Mid North will feature songs by the ‘Adelaide Songs’ team who will be joined by Mid North performers Iain Ross, Jenny Loftes, Bob Charman, NY Party woman and poems by Adair Garret & Ben (Bard of the Bush) Eggleton
Performances will take place in Burra, Peterborough,Auburn & Adelaide
during the month of May as part of SA History month.
Saturday 18 May Burra Town Hall (In assoc with Burra Town Hall C’mtee)
Sunday 19 May Peterborough Town Hall (In assoc with Peterborough History Group Inc)
Saturday 25 May HATs Courthouse Auburn (HATs) own venue)
Sunday 26 May Adelaide – Nexus Arts Centre (Also the CD Launch of Adelaide Songs)
