Sandefurs

A Note From Mr. Sandefur

Lion Family,

I truly enjoyed meeting and interacting with many of you at Monday's Orientation Information Session, and am looking forward to meeting those who are able to attend today's session at noon in Woody Auditorium. We are incredibly excited about the coming days as we prepare for the start of the school year. There is a sweet spirit among our school family as we are seeking the Lord's blessing on the days ahead.

As many of you may be aware by now, the CDC has recently changed their recommendations for schools regarding masks as the "delta" variant of Covid-19 continues to spread. Our leadership team will be meeting and discussing these recommendations over the days ahead and will communicate with our school family if any changes need to occur relating to our daily expectations on campus. We recognize that this issue is a contentious one, and seek to do our best to provide a safe environment for our students and faculty while also remaining autonomous from the public-school system. At this time the new recommendations are just that, recommendations, instead of mandates from our local, state, or federal government. I want to ensure you that we will do our due diligence and communicate as effectively as possible as we move forward.

We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we forge ahead for the 2021-22 academic year. Go Lions!

In Christ Alone,
Jeremy Sandefur
President
