Fall in Love with Skating at the Greensboro Ice House

Fall Learn to Figure Skate and Hockey classes are underway! Thirty minute weekly classes are offered for skaters ages 4 and up! Participants receive class card with unlimited FREE admission to public skating sessions for duration of semester. Late enrollment accepted with remaining
classes prorated.

Host your child’s birthday party at the coolest venue in town! The Fun Party Package starts at $185 and includes admission and skate rental for 10 (which includes the birthday child), two pizzas, two pitchers of drinks, 1 bucket of popcorn, invitations, an 8 foot table with benches, white paper products and balloons. Upgrades are available to customize your party to make it extra special for your child!

Cooking Classes for Kids, Teens and Adults

Children (and adults!) of all ages are getting hands-on with cooking classes at The Greensboro Children’s Museum. Kids, teens and adults can enjoy interactive classes featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients from the Museum’s half-acre garden.

This month’s line-up includes a family cooking class on Saturday, October 20 at 10 a.m. Families will work together to prepare healthy movie snacks. On Tuesday, October 23 at 5 p.m., children ages 8-11 will get in the spirit of pumpkin spice with three dishes that feature this fall favorite.

GCM’s adult cooking classes will cover a variety of dishes including granola and vegan desserts. For a complete list of cooking classes, visit gcmuseum.com.
