Hello! And welcome to June!

Our girls finished up with school on Thursday, saying good bye to 10th and 5th grade. It is so hard to believe that:
1.) we now have a junior in high school, and that
2.) our elementary years are over.
Life is moving along at warp speed, with our oldest starting her first real job and our family buying a third vehicle for her to use for work and the upcoming school year. I'm trying to live in the moment and appreciate every day, but it's really hard to just keep up!!

A shout-out to all things asparagus right now. Because I simply can't get enough of it this time of year! Pictured above is one of my favorite recipes - Sugar Grilled Beef and Asparagus Kebabs. I hope you give this a try!

CRUMBS: What We Made This Week

A fresh Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce is quick and easy to make. Our favorite way to enjoy it is spooned over scoops of vanilla ice cream, but it's also great over angel food cake, pound cake, waffles, French toast, and pancakes.

I used this recipe, and simply added a good amount of chopped fresh strawberries.

On Instagram this week, I shared a giveaway of the cookbook "Meals from the Mitten" from my Michigan friend, Gina. One of the recipes inside is this awesome Asparagus Guacamole. If you like asparagus and if you like guacamole, you will LOVE this!
