Hello Parents and Students!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We are so excited to kick off 2018 with our Junior High Youth Conference in Edmond, OK Jan. 19-20. Be sure to register by Jan. 7 to receive the early bird price! Details on how to register and the events of the weekend are listed below.

Parents, please be sure to attend our Junior High Parent Meeting on Wed. Jan. 10 at 6:30pm. We will cover important info including details on the 30 Hour Famine coming up in February, plus learn more about JHYC.

Our Christmas for Cooper Elementary service project was a huge success. We collected and wrapped over 100+ gifts and the school/kids were very grateful for our donation of new clothes and school supplies. Thank you everyone for being a part of this!

Sunday School will resume this Sunday Jan. 7 and Wed Nights resume on Jan. 10. Looking forward to seeing you all!

Early bird DEADLINE is THIS SUNDAY, Jan. 7!

A Junior High Youth Conference that is a day-long event of worship, games, challenging lessons, and a service project. Junior High Youth Conference is our denomination's annual conference for junior high students. At this weekend conference, students will recharge their batteries by experiencing encouraging worship and challenging lesson. They will have a chance to reconnect with fellow believers, and they will have the opportunity to recommit to living out their Christian faith in an ever-changing world.

This will be an exciting even filled with opportunities for fun and spiritual growth! We will leave Friday Jan. 19 after school and spend the night in a hotel. The conference is on Saturday and then we will head back to Wichita afterward. You must register for this event. We are also looking for adult leaders to help supervise. Email me if you are interested!

Grades 6 - 8 | At First MB Church | Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Junior High small groups are the heart of our ministry. Our groups split up by gender and grade, and then we end the night with games... and not every night we end with dodgeball. Each student stays in their small groups for all three years of Junior High.

Sunday @ 11:00 is the "front door" of our Senior and Junior High ministry. It's our large group gathering or "Church of Teenagers." It has elements of games, video, drama, and Biblical teaching that is culturally relevant to teenagers. They are regularly invited to interact of have table discussions with what is being shared from the leader. It is the perfect opportunity to come and "check things out" for our student ministry.

What is This Fundraiser?
The Dillon's Plus Card fundraiser is the easiest possible fundraiser for the student ministry. We raised over $7,500 in 2016 just by people enrolling online and using their Dillon's Plus Card. The more people we enroll under "First MB Church" the bigger the piece of pie we get from Dillon's ($500,000 a quarter). So make sure you enroll your grandparents, friends, and anyone else! Junior High Ministry has our own Facebook group. We use this mainly to update parents on last minutes changes or getting feedback. Click the logo to request to join this close (non-public) group.
