Happy Easter Weekend!

Well, we have another driver in the house as of yesterday. Our oldest daughter Hatti turned 16 recently and has been working hard on achieving this goal over the past 9 months. She was so very nervous going into the driving portion of the test yesterday (expectedly so!), and emerged absolutely glowing, so excited and happy after getting a passing grade. She celebrated with a shamrock shake and fries!

My Favorite Things this week... I've been excited to receive this cookbook (link HERE), set to release in early April. I was sent a sneak preview copy, as the author is a friend of mine. I finally got the opportunity to sit down with it yesterday, and it's so absolutely wonderful. For a little preview, check out my Instagram stories - I posted a few segments sharing about the book yesterday, so these segments will live for just 24 hours on my story and then disappear.

Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company.

Have a great weekend and Happy Easter to you!
-Brenda

NEW: On The Blog This Week

Coconut Gumdrop Cookies are buttery and chewy, with coconut and fruity gumdrop bites. I remember Mom making these fun cookies quite often when I was a kid. Bright and colorful for spring, perfect any time of year!

CRUMBS: What We Made This Week

Jammy Eggs, I am so much a fan!

For (easy!) instructions on how to make eggs just like these, go here.

I'm always looking for a new way with Egg Salad, and this recipe from Bon Appetit did not disappoint. Using the jammy eggs I made, plus a simple vinaigrette of whole grain mustard, mayo, and fresh lemon juice, this egg salad is AWESOME.

Here's the recipe.
