“Light It Forwards”: special Chanukah activities for children at Beit Avi Chai with a play, activities and surprises. Like in the film “Pay It Forwards,” the concept behind the Chanukah activity is to experience trying to help and assist others – even strangers, and to work for a better environment and a better community. |
Chanukah at the Tower of David Museum: “HaHashmonaim Baim” (the Hashmoneans are coming) – a special encounter with the Hashmoneans of the fortress on a guided tour between the fortress’s remains for the whole family. “Walls and Menorahs” – an experience for the whole family just for Hanukah that is full of light. |
December at the Museum of Islamic Art: a whole month full of performances, ethnic music, piyyuts, silsulim (trills) and world music. Head onto a voyage into the history of Arabic notes and strings. Every week will offer a different show – 3 times every night – 9pm, 10pm and 11pm. |
