Spotlight on Recovery
At 94 years young, Tiffany is no stranger to hard work. A retired nurse who continues to do a daily exercise program, she and her daughter reached out to CBPT to address some new mobility concerns. Here's what she had to share about her physical therapy experience:
1) Why did you choose CBPT for your therapy?
"I was having trouble getting up from my chair on my sunporch. My daughter felt I may need some physical therapy to help with strengthening my body so that I could remain independent. I thought that sounded like a good idea, and it was a grand idea!"
2) How did our therapy team help you move better and live better?
"In physical therapy I gained mobility by doing their exercises, and it made me stronger. I could rise up out of my chair, which helped me remain independent."
3) What advice would you give to someone who is considering physical therapy?
"My advice would be to make sure you start physical therapy and complete the therapy in full. Do all the exercises and continue them even after you complete therapy. Keep in mind it is to HELP you!"
