Our nation is in an extreme moment.

We are almost a week into COVID-19 profoundly impacting the lives of Canadians.

Firstly, here at 4 My Canada we want you to know that we are praying for you and your loved ones.

Every day, Canadians are receiving updated measures from all levels of government - Federal, Provincial and Municipal - as governments fight to flatten the curve of the spread of this global virus and help Canadians weather the storm financially.

1 - WORKING TOGETHER - We encourage all our readers to continue to follow the government's recommendations of social distancing and self isolating where there is the possibility of infection. If we all do our part, we will save lives.

2 - PROPER PERSPECTIVE - Most of you reading this will have a faith dimension to your life. May we all work to keep our eyes on the source who is greater than any other source, our Heavenly Father. In times of uncertainty, He is the most faithful anchor. Psalm 91 is a wonderful encouragement for moments like this.

3 - REACHING OUT - Lets all reach out where we can and when we can to encourage others.

4 - PRAY - Prayer is our most powerful protection. Please keep our leaders, pastors, communities and especially the most vulnerable among us covered in prayer. Many across the nation are fasting right now. This is one of the most powerful things we can do for our nation. If you have extra time at home right now perhaps consider calling a friend and having a prayer meeting over the phone or by Skype.

We will get through this and we will be stronger on the other side with all of our priorities aligned in a new way.
