There's a lot going on in Deer Spirit Land as we transition into a very exciting Year of the Water Tiger. The Sun entered Aquarius on 1/19; the same day that the Lunar Nodes shifted out of Gemini - Sagittarius into Taurus - Scorpio. Uranus stationed direct on 1/18. Venus stationed direct on 1/29 and Mercury will station direct on 2/4, marking the beginning of 3 months of no planets retrograde. Restrictions are releasing and it's full speed ahead! Today is the New Moon in Aquarius / Chinese New Year of the Tiger. This is the beginning of a new evolutionary phase which will last for the 18 months of the Lunar Nodes transit through Taurus - Scorpio. We will be constantly reminded that what worked for us in the past is no longer working. Our values are evolving and we must embrace the transformations as they arise, even though it will often feel like the rug is being pulled out from underneath us. In the New Moon chart, we have Saturn in Aquarius closely conjunct the exact Sun - Moon conjunction in Aquarius. Saturn adds an air of stability and sobriety to the lofty freedom of the Aquarius New Moon. Pluto, Mercury, Venus and Mars bond in Capricorn near the New Moon - we are dead serious about what we value and want to accomplish, and we're willing to work hard to achieve it. We also know that in order to succeed in our new endeavors, we must break the ties that bind us and leave the past behind us. Jupiter in Pisces is wise, empathic and generous, but we must not give more than we can afford. Jupiter makes a harmonious sextile to both Mars in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus, promising good fortune in this Lunar cycle as long as we keep our eyes on the prize and don't become too greedy or too generous. The Year of the Water Tiger will feel like a radical departure out of the slow deliberate plodding of The Year of the Ox. Major breakthroughs, insights, revelations and transformations will come fast and furious as we let go of old beliefs, attitudes and relationships. The Water Tiger feels everything deeply. has great power and presence, mystical wisdom and razor sharp instinct (razor sharp teeth too!!). Tiger silently stalks, hears, smells, sees and attacks with blinding speed. The Water Tiger Year will be one of great passion, purpose and progress. And it will be a year in which our darkest shadows are brought out into light. There is deeply buried trauma that surfaces this year that has accumulated over many millennia of war, rape, slavery, disease and natural disaster. It is getting stirred up by the rising tide of ascension. It must come out into the light to be healed. |  Nisargadatta dies in 1981 but this quote is perfect for what we are faced with now. May we all rise above the divisiveness and control freak fear mongering of this global covid healing crisis and awaken to and fully embody our true nature as divine immortal spirit soul!! In that state, their is no fear, no insatiable cravings...... because we have surrendered into the wellspring of peace, love and wisdom within (which is our true nature). That well that never runs dry must be allowed to flow freely through us. It cannot be captured, hoarded, pushed, pulled, bottled and sold, hidden, diluted, or diverted. It lives only in the flowing, giving and sharing. It is healing, soothing and nourishing. It washes away the pain, poisons,, shame, judgments, justifications and regrets........ | Unhealed trauma is the source of catastrophobia - the fear of catastrophe. We all have at least a little of it - the fear that something really bad will happen, especially when things are going really well. It makes us crazy, and at it's worst, it descends into End Times Madness! The end of the world is coming and we must prepare for it! We must hoard as much money, guns, food and gas as we can! Nobody can be trusted! It's every man for himself! There's not enough to go around so I just gotta get mine by any means necessary before somebody beats me to it! The impulses of violence, greed and selfish lust arise in those who carry the most trauma. They are not evil. They are walking wounded, broken hearted hungry ghosts who have lost pieces of their souls. As the trauma heals, the buried treasure that was hidden underneath it is revealed. Here's how you do the New Moon Intentions 5 Elements Ritual™ -
- Write intentions list in the form of affirmations - I am always safe wherever I am and whatever I do, I am very successful in my work. My finances are always improving etc. .....
- Ether Element - place list on altar (gesture of turning it over to the divine to be blessed, supported and made manifest)
- Fire Element - on the day of New Moon burn list and save the ashes in an envelope.
- Air Element - smoke of burning list sends intentions up into the air / heaven
- Earth Element - take ashes, bury them outside in the earth with a seed (flower seed, acorn, any kind of seed)
- Water Element - water the ashes / seed. (You can make "holy water" by saying prayer over it, charging it with Reiki) Whether you do the 5 elements ritual or not, what's most important is that you practice the techniques of Conscious Intentional Creation of Reality™ - ▪ Set intentions (mental setting, like setting alarm clock, or setting rudder and sails on a sailboat)

After a candidate is chosen, they assist in teaching all 4 levels of training (Reiki Levels 1, 2, 3 and Master Teacher). They also have weekly coaching sessions which may be over the phone or in person, and homework assignments. Another aspect of the program is providing Reiki in a volunteer capacity at the free clinics I supervise. The program is tailored to the needs of the individual candidate. If there are issues blocking the candidate's general fulfillment in life and success as a Reiki healer and teacher, these will be addressed through counseling and healing sessions. I am accepting applications for an apprentice who would start working with me in January, 2020. Karuna Reiki® is taught by private appt. online or at your residence only.
