Friend, we haven't forgotten you!
It's been quite a long time since you've heard from us, and so we understand if you don't remember us. So much has changed since we first launched The Our Milk Money Business Directory, thirteen years ago.
Our mission to support parent entrepreneurs was widely received and we helped kickstart more than a million small businesses world wide. We watched as countless moms and dads shook up the work-at-home industry, never failing to put their families first without apology. This extraordinary community made sacrifices for their children, took in incomes far less than what they were worth, and still operated with a positive spirit that can only be generated by a passionate village of moms.
It's no secret that the Covid Pandemic has brought an immeasurable amount of struggle and hardship across the nation, disproportionately affecting this very same community. Hundreds of thousands of working moms have left the workforce, and only a small fraction have found their way back in.
The pandemic only worsened an already widespread crisis that debilitated mature women, parents and caregivers across the nation for the past several decades. Facing gendered ageism and other biases in their quest for gainful employment has been a devastating process for many. In the past, we worked together to bring 1 million parents home. But now, we need your help getting parents back to work.
We are please to announce that Our Milk Money is still here, ready to serve the same community with a new mission.
Currently, we are in the process of getting approval for our non-profit status. We've elected a temporary Board of Directors, and also have a team of remarkable advisors, high-powered influencers, and an incredibly passionate volunteer staff. Never before has Our Milk Money seen this kind of commitment from the public. LEARN MORE→
WHEN WE MOVE TOGETHER, WE MOVE MOUNTAINS.
We will continue to build our new website with a mission to advocate for anyone who has been unsuccessful in finding gainful employment due to ageism, gender bias, extended work gaps, discrimination against parents who chose to stay at home for a time, or even being "over qualified."
