PTA Membership Campaign!
Mills PTA Flyer join the PTA today

Our PTA at Mills works to foster collaboration among parents, teachers, and staff so that we can create a vibrant, successful learning community for our children. We cannot do that without the support of our community and we are asking that you join the PTA for the 2022-2023 school year. Attached is a flyer highlighting work of our PTA. On Friday, September 16th we are launching a membership campaign. We have several exciting incentives to encourage PTA membership and hope you'll help us meet our goal of 425 members!
275 - Mills paw print water bottle stickers for everyone
325 - Schoolwide pajama day
350 - Front office/admin funny hair & hat day
375 - Mr. Deric will read a story to the school via zoom
425 - Mr. Varela will perform a science experiment for the school via zoom

Progress toward our goal will be posted on the Joe Dan Mills Elementary Facebook group.

Upcoming Dirt Club Dates
Dirt Club Dates

Thursday, September 22: 6 - 7:30pm
Saturday, October 8: 9 - Noon

Come out for one of our upcoming Dirt Club dates (next one is a weekday evening)! Thursday night we'll take on some minor projects around campus.

Note we changed our originally planned date (originally Oct 15) to a week earlier.

Bring out work gloves if you have them. We'll meet up in front of the school and branch out from there. We'll have rocks to paint, and potentially some Dirt Club swag to give away!
