newsletter 6

Hey Friends! It's been a while since the last newsletter. I was a busy summer and it took some of the fall for me to get back into the swing of things. But, I am excited that The Noshery small bites newsletter is back! I hope you are too!

I can't believe that in a few months it will be a whole year living fulltime in our motorcoach. When we purchased the motorcoach we had plans to hit the road at least once a month. Due to busy schedules and family obligations, we haven't been able to travel as much as we'd like. But, I am excited to announce that this weekend we are finally hitting the road. We're not going far but I am still excited and it will be fun. We are headed to a little town called Fredricksburg. It's a small Texas town with German traditions. We are excited to finally hit the road and explore this adorable little down. I fully plan on hitting up Beastfeast drinking some beer and eating brats and sauerkraut. If you want to follow along on our adventure make sure you follow me on Instagram!

Squad 2

You guys!

Did you know there is a place where we (that is right you and me) can chat about food, recipes, and cooking? It's my Facebook Group The Noshery Squad.

If you follow me on The Noshery Facebook Page you may be wondering how is it different from the group. First, because of FB's lovely algorithm (insert sarcastic tone) when I share a post or recipe update it doesn't necessarily mean you will see it. On an FB group, you are sure to see all published posts. Also, it's a place where we can share recipes, tips, ideas and just chat and have fun! It's not just me sharing what I think is delicious, it's about you sharing too.

Let's chat! Join The Noshery Squad!

lore

If you are interested in history and real-life bizarre events then you need to check out Lore on Amazon Prime Video. I have been a fan of the Lore podcast for some time. This series brings the Lore podcast to life and uncovers the real-life events that have fed into folklore. The series blends dramatic scenes, animation, archive, and narration. Lore reveals that the folklore behind vampires, werewolves, and body snatchers are rooted in truth.

bb-meatballs

From the archives! Like really and kind of embarrassing.

Blueberry Balsamic BBQ Turkey Meatballs
This is one of my earliest recipes and I will never forget that it got one of my first negative comments. "This is disgusting and I went to culinary school." Oooookay.... Well maybe the combination sounds a little odd to some but I promise you that these meatballs are pretty tasty.

An immersion blender is your best friend!

My kitchen is tiny and digging out a blender that will dominate my counter space isn't always the best option. The solution is an immersion blender. I use my immersion blender more than any other electric tool in the kitchen. It's perfect for pureeing soup directly in the pot, making sauces, or smoothies.

An immersion blender is much easier to clean than a countertop blender or food processor, no need to transport hot ingredients from a pot to the blender jar. Then to clean is immerse it in a cup of hot soapy water, blend, rise, and dry. Easy! If you're looking for an immersion I have this one and love it!

*Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil*

Microblading is the latest eyebrow trend but, I am hesitant. It's expensive and when it comes down to it it's a kind of tatoo and it's very new. So, I decided to just find a quality brow pencil instead and I think I found it. I just got Benefit's Goof Proof Pencil is awesome! I goes on easy, looks natural, and stays on all day. Even after a sweat fest at the gym.

Sun Rise Energy Bars

These bars are my new favorite healthy treat. I found them at Sprout's Farmers Market but I have read that they are also available at Costco. They are lightly sweet, nutty, and hearty. I love to pair them with my mid-morning protein shake. They are whole grain, 100% natural energy bars with Omega 3 and no trans fats. Most important they are YUMMY!
