The opening production, Maizy & Sprout (June 12-21 at CMWS) introduces two young Native American sisters, as they explore the worlds that stories come from. Piping in next is Take One Step (July 10-19 at Hanesbrands Theatre), a musical adaptation of the Pied Piper story, written by Gerald Freedman, UNCSA’s Dean Emeritus of the School of Drama. Rounding up the summer is a fresh adaptation of the classic Italian comedy, The Servant of Two Masters (August 7-16 at CMWS), a hilarious slapstick farce which incorporates Grade 1 and 2 State Standards in Mathematics. All productions are recommended for ages 4 & up. For more information, visit www.peppercorntheatre.org.
