This large folder was custom designed to fill many needs. Firstly I really wanted to include an applique project. Secondly it needed to be useful so that our stitchers would actually finish and use their project. It folds up like a folder with stiff bag batting inside to keep its shape. With handles (which I've personalised) to carry, inside it has a custom made 100% wool pressing mat made for me by Cottage Garden Threads, and many useful pockets for particular things.

The pattern includes laser cut Applique paper templates -so you dont have to trace or cut anything, just fuse it on, glue the seam allowances over and stitch by hand or machine.

Pockets for your sandpaper board, mini cutting mat, 6 1/2" ruler and mini rotary cutter on the right and a small piece of wool felt for your needles.

You may be able to see down the middle a little zip? This is optional - but allows the project pocket you can see on top (Companion pattern - Just for Jenny pouch below) to zip into your folder. You could also add more than one zip, and make several zip in pouches.

We have full kits for this project folder which include all fabrics, bag batting, the woolly mat and felt. They do not include the project folder materials or the haby items in the pockets.

This is the companion pattern to the Pressing matters folder - here you will find the instructions for the project pouch which can zip into your folder. Of course you can ignore the zip part and make it as a stand alone project pouch also.

The project includes our EPP Iron on hexies and embroidery. Some more challenging and exciting stitches are used rather than just backstitch but it is a lovely piece to work on. The backside has clear vinyl and a zipper to hold your projects as you work with easy visibility to see what you're carrying.
EPP Iron on 1" hexie papers and an iron on transer is included in the pattern.

Our kits include everything you can see - fabrics, vinyl, 2 x zips and the linen stitchery fabric. Thread kits can be ordered separately - I have used beautiful Presencia Finca Perle #16 threads and the kit will do all four projects.

With 1/4" lines on easy to see green fluro acrylic the markings are lasered on the bottom side so that they sit on the fabric for accuracte measuring.
