Nothing is more exciting than planning your Fringe experience in advance! Today is your chance to get first dibs on the 50+ shows and events we have planned for you at the 2017 Hamilton Fringe Festival. Tickets go on sale today at 8am.

Our festival runs from July 20-July 30 and will take place in 10 venues in downtown Hamilton. Plan your summer theatre experience early!

KICK OFF: The Tradition Rendition features 40+ live previews of the 2017 shows!

The Kick Off gives each participating company 90 seconds to offer previews of their shows- giving audiences a taste of the excitement to come at the festival this summer!

In recognition of the 150th anniversary of Canada's confederation, the event will also feature performances from Hamiltonians who trace their origins to many different cultures from around the world. Join us in this unique celebration of Hamilton talent! Join in the fun and help us launch the 14th Edition of the Hamilton Fringe Festival!

The Official Kick-off begins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 19 at the Lincoln Alexander Centre – 160 King St. E.

We are THRILLED to announce that the MC for this year’s Fringe Kick-off is stand-up superstar, Martha Chaves!

Tickets for the Kick-off are limited and available for $10 in advance (online charges apply) or Pay-What-You-Can at the door.

For ten epic days in July, the Hamilton Fringe Festival will welcome artists and audiences of every kind from across the country and around the world. It is an exciting time to be in the city, meeting and greeting new people and watching the Festival unfold. That’s why volunteers return again and again to the Fringe experience. You can apply to be a Venue Captain - or sign up for one of the many volunteer roles!
