Classroom Volunteers Needed!

In the new year, we have a unique volunteer opportunity for parents to help out at Mills. We are starting a new program called FAMS: Families as Mills Supporters. FAMS invites adult volunteers to come to Mills and serve as very short-term teachers, covering classes for teachers while they’re in planning meetings. At this point, we are specifically seeking volunteers, working in pairs, who are willing to cover classrooms for several hours once a month.

Come out on the 30th for some campus landscaping fun! We'll be working on clearing more of the fence line along Escarpment, so bring your long sleeve shirt and work gloves if you have them.

If tangling with thorn-covered vines isn't your thing, we'll have other activities as well (painting, staining picnic tables, and general campus cleanup). There will be plenty of options for anyone who's interested.

We'll be there from 1-4, but come by for any amount of time during that window and we'll put you to work...we'll base out of the front parking lot, by the gate to the portables. Hope to see you there!
