They say leaving Facebook is the adult version of running away from home - you’re only doing it for attention, and everyone knows you’ll be back.
Well if you're on Facebook you probably saw that I temporarily left last week, although my situation was slighly different lol.
The reason I'm mentioning this is because I wanted to let you know that I'm still around, I'm still available, but the posts I would have made on Facebook relating to following Yeshua and learning Hebrew, I'll now be making in the new conversation page on the Holy Language website instead. I hope you'll join me. Here's the link.
I'll also be including a personal note at the end of these weekly emails, so open them and read all the way to the bottom or you'll miss out on everything!!

Dianne's Story
Dianne is following Yeshua in the Hebrew way! Here's her story.
I was shown the truth about Yeshua in 1971 while in college in New York State. I was brought up as a Catholic, so was never told about the need for salvation, or that we have a Savior!!
I have not started learning Hebrew, but a pastor friend taught extensively about Jewish culture and holidays, and another close friend has lived in Israel and tells wonderful stories of his experiences. Both often refer to original Hebrew meanings of words.
Recently, I was at a woman's conference and talked to a sweet lady named Dianne, and she gave me the information about your website.
Personal details--I am a mother of five adult children and have sixteen grandchildren. I enjoy supporting my grandchildren in their sports and school activities, and reading, and church activities. I also substitute for teachers at a local high school. I retired from federal civil service three years ago, with 24 years of service.
I have paid for two trips to tour Israel, but both trips were cancelled. It is my heart's desire to visit my King's homeland, and I trust one day I will be able to do so!
I am on Facebook as Dianne M. Owens,
email address is diannemacy@yahoo.com
I am SO looking forward to this study!!!
Blessings....
You have a story too, and the tribe would love to hear it! Share here?

On a personal note, since we moved from our townhouse in Prince Albert Saskatchewan at the end of August we've been camped temporarily on my Mom's driveway in Saskatoon in our new 5th wheel trailer home. Our daughter Tirzah is very happy about getting to spend so much time with "Baba", and it's giving us some time to shift gears into our new more nomadic mode of living. One of the things I've been busy with is building a studio where I can film.
You probably also know that the Jewish community all around the world finished our annual reading through the Torah this last week, and began the new cycle once again in the book of Genesis. Tirzah's to the point now where she can sound out Hebrew words on her own, so I let her read the last verse of Deuteronomy, and then turn once more to the beginning and read those hallowed words in the first verse of Genesis - "breisheet bara Elohim..." "in the beginning God created..." It was beautiful to hear those ancient words from the mouth of a child. Truly, Hebrew is alive and so is the God who gave his Torah in that language.
Tirzah suggested we have a feast of milk and honey on challah to celebrate the completion of our annual study, as you can see here.
All the best to you as you study through the same Torah this upcoming year that Yeshua spent so much time and loving attention in.
In Messiah's love,
Izzy Avraham
