Attention Returning Families

Parent Portal Added to the Pitzone Software!

New for this season, NICA has introduced a parent login system. Not only does it align us with other youth sports, where it is very rare to put the administrative burden of registering on the student, but our parents can now manage multiple student athletes via one login/parent portal.

This morning I went through our entire roster of returning riders and set up parent logins, then re-sent invitation reminders to the parent's email address. Please check your inbox or spam folders for the invitation, it should come from "donotreply@nationalmtb.org".

When two parents were listed, I selected the first parent on the list, or the parent who is a coach. If you would like to change the "login" parent for your student, feel free to send me an email and I will edit the profile.

Thank you!

Pre-season Report

NICA pre-season activities are focused on team building and fun! Students meet their coaching staff, conduct bike checks, go on fun rides, etc. Regular practices will begin on December 1st.

Pre-season activities began on October 15th, and our league kicked it off with a bang!

We had multi-team events across the state:

▪ The Hunterdon Havoc hosted students from all over the region to sample their home trails at Highbridge. League Coach Supporter Ben Tufford was on hand to assist coaches, and ended the event with a super fun game of bike soccer! Check out a video clip of the game here.

Ben intends to visit many regions around the state helping teams facilitate multi-team practices and events. Stay tuned!

▪ The Highlands and Essex Offroad teams hosted a "pump jam" at the West Milford Family Pumptrack!
▪ The new Camden Composite Team hosted a fun ride at Croft Farms and set up an information booth at the Cherry Hill Harvest Fest.
