Theory of Change blogs by Dave Harvey and Lucy Maynard

Following on from the first Theory of Change blog, parts 2 and 3 are available now. IOL Members can log in to read these,

Part 2: Why do we do what we do?
Developing a theory of change starts from the position that we should all want to understand whether positive change is created through our work with and for young people, as well as why and how that change happens.

Part 3: What exactly are we doing?
Once we have established an understanding of ‘why we do what we do?’ and specifically the needs and long-term goals of the people we work with, we need to understand and show how we intend to contribute to that journey.

How to describe Outdoor Learning (fast)

Open to all and non-members welcome

Next webinar 4th November
5.30pm to 6.15pm

With the negative impact of COVID-19 across the sector, growing positive media interest in the outdoors and active campaigns for supporting residential outdoor education across the UK it has never been more important to have a clear voice from the sector.
One aspect of our collective voice is how we as individuals answer the question “what is outdoor learning?” This brief webinar will offer a clear framework and options for how outdoor learning can be described. Open to all. Book here.

Open-to-all webinars. Non members welcome
