Tuesday's lunch was a cheesy chicken and rice casserole with brownies as a special treat. As always, our kitchen crew did a splendid job!

Jam making has been a big focus this week, as we replenish our stores in preparation of the upcoming shows. Cranberry Jalapeno Jungle Jam and Cranberry Orange Juicy Jam are now available! We also spent time outside clearing away a fallen tree and working in the front greenhouse, rigging up a small "room" to extend our growing season. We're eager to see if it will work. Feel free to stop by and see all that we accomplish here during a busy work day.

Friendsgiving 2019

Join us for a GG fundraiser at Diletto Winery in Boardman the night before Thansksgiving, November 27 from 6-9pm, complete with a basket raffle. The band On the Rocks will be playing. Come out & enjoy some relaxation with good friends, good food, & good music for a good cause!

Basket Raffle Donations Needed

If you would like to put together a basket from yourself, your organization, or your business, please let us know. Have a friend that might want to publicize their business with a basket donation? Please let them know. All donations very much appreciated! We love to share donation photos and information on our Facebook page, website, and in our newsletter. There is a basket donation sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the Great Room.

OUTREACH and MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Youth Group Christmas Project ~ Toy Drive for ACH

A gift of toys, games, or activity supplies can make a big difference to children and families spending time in the hospital. Children can learn and find comfort in play while dealing with the big emotions of being in the hospital. Games and toys foster a playful atmosphere, which has the ability to bring smiles to the faces of children and adults alike. Donating a wish list item to our Christmas Toy Drive is one way to bring cheer to a sick child’s day. Akron Children's Hospital is always in need of toys, craft supplies, and other items throughout the year for children from infancy through age 18. Grab a wish list in the Great Room or click HERE to view it online. Drop items off at the donation table anytime through December 15.

You can’t imagine the difference your gift can make to a hospitalized child & their family.

Ongoing Outreach/Mission Opportunity

Coat & Clothing & More Drive
Keep saving all your clothing and outerwear items for next year's giveaway. Tell your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers that we will accept donations all year! Clothes for all ages and sizes needed, along with coats, bags, purses, shoes, housewares, books, toys...whatever you think might help someone in need. Drop items off in the collection barrel or take them up to the Green Room.

~~~~~~~
For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.
.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
What can YOU do?
