Help Us Protect Animals in 2018

The Humane Society of the Sierra Foothills (HSSF) enforces laws that protect animals from abuse. Due to their life-threatening conditions, animals that are rescued or legally "seized," must be treated by veterinarians, and often require special diets to reach optimal health. Before they can be adopted out, some require professional training or rehabbing as well - all of which is expensive! We are funded solely by donations, grants and sales from our Used Book Store and the New 2 You Thrift & Gift Store in Auburn (in the Raley's shopping center). As an independent nonprofit organization, we are not affiliated with any other entity, and we do not receive any government funding. All donations are tax-deductible.
