Greetings from Bali
Last week I was telling you about Volcanoes and finding a supply of those Wooden Boat Displays, you can read it here. Actually one of those volcanoes became active this week, and Bali airport was closed for three days as a cloud of ash drifted by, I was thinking maybe I was stuck in Bali.. sadly not :) It cleared up and the airport reopened.
By the time you read this I will be on a flight back to Europe via Kuala Lumpur. It's been an hectic few days in Bali, never enough time to get everything done, but one important job had to be completed before the Galungan ceremony.
Both the Muslim and Balinese main festivals (both movable feasts) have conspired to happen at once. It's Eid and Galungan so that means that 100% of our suppliers are on holiday.
It's been one of those Bath Plug moments (I was telling you about a few weeks ago) - you know when you can't summon the will to get out of the bath.. pull the plug with your big toe, and you have to get up because you have a deadline.
