Many Canadians have already appeared before the Justice Committee warning against the potential dangers of this bill which could limit personal freedom rights in Canada.
Some advocates are also concerned that this could lead to the clergy not being allowed to reference scriptures regarding biologically based gender in counseling or when praying for people.

IMPORTANT: EMAIL MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
The most important action point for both of these bills is to email your Member of Parliament.
Ask them to vote FOR C-233, the Gendercide Bill.
Ask them to vote AGAINST C-6, the Conversion Therapy Bill.
Key points to mention:
GENDERDICE:
▪ the majority of Canadians (84%+) are opposed to gender select abortion and see it as discrimination
▪ all parties have denounced gendercide as being wrong, legislation needs to reflect this
▪ though policies made provincially, it is important for the federal government to criminalize it federally to give the provinces the signal that they need to reflect this in hospitals and abortion clinics
▪ this is a common sense bill that deserves our support

▪ this bill unfairly discriminates against those who would like counseling that affirms their biological gender
