A Note From Mr. Sandefur

Lion Family,

I trust you all had a restful and enjoyable fall break, and I extend a warm welcome as we dive back into the school routine. October is upon us, and with it comes the anticipation of cooler days, colorful leaves, and the many exciting events and opportunities that a new season brings. This newsletter marks our first week back from fall break, and it carries a special significance for me personally, having recently returned from an incredible journey to Asia.

Over the past three weeks, I had the privilege of traveling to Asia with a dedicated team of TKA staff members. Our mission was to reach out to students and families, sharing the unique educational experience and the exceptional values that define The King's Academy. This extraordinary trip allowed us to forge connections and build partnerships with students and their families across the globe, expanding our TKA family in ways that only serve to enrich the tapestry of our community.

As we embark on this post-fall break period, I'm filled with gratitude for the many wonderful things happening at TKA. We are continually inspired by our students' dedication and enthusiasm, the remarkable commitment of our faculty and staff, and the unwavering support of families like yours. This newsletter is a testament to the vibrant, thriving community we are building together, and I look forward to the exciting times ahead as we continue our collective journey toward excellence.

Wishing you all a fantastic 2nd Quarter, filled with moments of joy and growth. Thank you for being part of our remarkable TKA family.

In Christ,

Jeremy Sandefur
President/Head of School

Forged Men's Group

October 20th, 6:30 AM

As we continue to foster a strong sense of community and faith within The King's Academy, we are excited to introduce the "Forged Men's Group". This is an opportunity for the men in our community to gather, share, and grow together in faith.

Our first meeting will take place on Friday, October 20th, in the Ashe Cafeteria at 6:30 AM. We'll spend around 30-45 minutes in a devotion and prayer session. The theme for our inaugural gathering will be "What is Biblical Community?" – a topic that holds great significance in our mission.

Craig Connatser, a valued member of our TKA community, will lead the discussion. His insights and guidance will undoubtedly enrich our understanding of this crucial theme.

We hope you can join us for this special time of fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth. Please mark your calendars, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require further information. We look forward to coming together as the Forged Men's Group and building a stronger, faith-centered community at TKA.

October 27th, 6:30 AM

As we continue to foster a strong sense of community and faith within The King's Academy, we are excited to introduce a new opportunity for the female members of our community to gather and strengthen our faith through the "Forged Women's Group".

Our first meeting will take place on Friday, October 27th, at 6:30 AM in the Ashe Cafeteria. We will spend approximately 30-45 minutes engaging in a devotion and prayer session.

Our inaugural theme, "What is Biblical Community?", holds profound importance within our mission, and we are fortunate to have April Kandel, an esteemed member of the TKA family, lead this discussion.

This gathering promises to be a space for fellowship, spiritual growth, and the building of a supportive female community.

Please mark the date on your calendars, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require additional information.

We look forward to coming together as the Forged Women's Group, where we can deepen our faith and sense of community within the TKA family.
