How can we pray for you? We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "We have had a week so far here in northeast Ohio and, as I write this, it is only Tuesday. I pray you are all safe and warm wherever this finds you. I pray God has you covered with His precious arms of love, whatever you are facing or have been facing these past few weeks. There are so many that have been broken in some way. God is the mender of every hurt and heartache you have. Rest in Him. Trust in Him. Rely on Him. Reach out to Him." "My Word for the week goes along with my thoughts above, “CARRY.” I posted something on my FB page yesterday and it rings so true today. “One day you will tell your story of how you’ve overcome what you’re going through now, and it will become part of someone else’s survival guide.” We are all going through something that will one day help someone else. I believe that with my whole heart. We all have something we “carry” with us every day. The Holy Spirit will guide us to who we need to “carry” our message or our story. I pray we “carry” each other to victory. We are not meant to “carry” our story just within us. God needs us to “carry” to others His message of love, grace, hope, and healing. We are His instruments of love, “carry” the love to others. Reach out to others to be His hands and feet. We all have a mission to “carry” out. Holy Spirit, continue to be our guide. Have a fantastic week as you “carry” to others, hope." "Carry one another’s heavy loads. If you do, you will fulfill the law of Christ." ~ Galatians 6:2 (NIVR) | Joint Directories ~ Grab One (or Two) at the Front Desk! | Ligonier Connect Discipleship Training Available for CGCC/CLC members! This week, with Monday off and Tuesday closed because of weather, we have an unexpectedly shortened week! All the snow meant that we started our Wednesday by doing some shoveling, to spruce up areas and make parking easier. Then we moved on to carrying donations up to the warehouse and beginning the task of sorting. We plan on being very organized with donations for the Giveaway this year, to make set up a breeze. In between our working, we took a break for snow fun with the first snowman building and snow angel making of the season. You're never too old to play in the snow! Today we are doing a deep clean, including washing woodwork, trying to drive away all the germs. Since it is so cold out, we are keeping busy inside and might even finish up our day with some fun and games. Even better than having some game time was our special lunchtime surprise visit from our friend Rich, bringing delicious, hot pizza from North Lima Pizza. Thanks, Rich!!! It is always fantastic to get visitors and we love visiting with you! We hope you all are staying warm and toasty this week as we finally get this blast of winter! | Do You Want to Build a Snowman? | Jungle Jam & Juicy Jam Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam are available in several flavors at Reach for the STARS in Salem and in Columbiana at the Chamber of Commerce office.
