To our valued clients,
It is with a heavy heart to inform you that Classic Image Photography will be closing our storefront on July 1, 2020. Having been in business for over 15 years, this decision was not made lightly. We never could have predicted that the world would be dealing with a pandemic this day and age, let alone just how drastically it would affect our studio.
Due to unforeseen circumstances brought on by COVID-19, we've had no choice but to move forward with this difficult decision. While I have loved working with all of our wonderful clients over the years, it is time to transition to a new chapter, a sort of semi-retirement from my photography business.
At this time, we will not be scheduling any future sessions and we kindly request your cooperation as we work to complete any outstanding orders prior to closing. If you have a photo shoot scheduled with us and have not been contacted prior to receiving this letter, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
Some of you may know that my educational background is in Nursing. That being said, this past March I traveled to New York City, as part of a Rapid Response Team that assisted with the COVID-19 crisis. This experience has not only impacted me personally but it has had a profound impact on my professional ambitions. I’ve discovered that the medical field is where my heart is and what I need to focus on at this time.
Although I plan to continue assisting rapid response teams throughout the country and hopefully internationally, it is my first duty and commitment to complete any outstanding photo orders and projects that we were working on prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
My love of photography will never allow me to completely abandon my camera. My hopes are as the pandemic ceases, between my travels, I will take on select photo shoots and eventually focus on destination sessions. But for now, I know my time is best spent in medicine, utilizing my nursing skills to help those in need.
Thank you so much for your business and friendship over the last fifteen years. Without your loyalty and commitment to supporting a local small business, I wouldn’t have been able to do what I loved for as long as I did.
