December News

Seems like I'm a day late and a dollar short...sigh...blame it on eating too much turkey! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know we did. I was blessed to spend the day before Thanksgiving traveling to see my mom, sister and brother in law ~ that's about the extent of "my side" of the immediate family. The following day was spent with my husband's side of the family where we were blessed with our daughter-in-law Katie taking on the entire meal preparing for 20 adults plus Reagan, our 13 month old granddaughter. A good time was had by all!

Small Business Saturday

Was a success!! Thank you to my local quilters who joined me. They went home with a great deal on tools, technique sheets, notions, patterns and fabric. I truly appreciated those who were able to stay to make Tissue Covers for the local non-profit to distribute to Senior Citizens for Christmas. Details of that will be on the blog later this week including a tutorial.

Cyper Monday

I have made a commitment to you, my dear newsletter readers, to always be the first to know....well...know this...I'm behind in my plans for Cyper Monday. GASP! The past week was too eventful for me to get everything done in a timely manner. Last night I "Opened" an Etsy store with the intention of listing every pattern I have in stock, but only managed to list The Quilt Rambler patterns, both print and digital. Who knew the hours involved! But it's going to be worth it once I have things up and running. I haven't learned how to do coupons or discounts yet, sigh...

I do have a deal just for you! While supplies last I am offering fabric kits for Mint Chocolate Chip and Stormy Stars, complete with the pattern, at 25% off! Email me info@TheQuiltRambler.com or simply hit reply to this newsletter. Provide me your email address for PayPal invoicing and your shipping address. First contact, first served.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cover Front

Mint Chocolate Chip, one of my first patterns, features a Drunkard's Path layout using either the Accucut Go Cutter Dies or Templates in the 7" and 3 1/2" finished sizes. The fabrics are all Island Batik from the Northern Woods collection. Regular price $109, now $80 including shipping (US only). Ask about the Templates too if you don't have a Go Cutter.

Stormy Stars is a Deb Tucker pattern which uses the Diamond Rects and Square Squared tools (not included). The kit features the pattern and the fabulous Blue Moon fabric collection from Island Batik. Regular $120, now $90 including shipping (US only).

I have two matching Blue Moon Aurifil thread collections left - 20% off. Regular $132 now $105 including shipping (US only).

In addition I do have cordinating backing fabrics for each, 3 yards for Mint Chocolate Chip and 4 yards for Stormy Stars for $9.50/yard including shipping to continental US.

My Etsy Store

As mentioned, I will continue to update and add products to the Etsy store. My intentions were to offer you a 25% off all The Quilt Rambler patterns both print and digital ~ which I will still honor ~ again, once I can figure out Etsy coupons. If you can't wait just email me and we will make sure you get your digital or print pattern as soon as possible! Regular $11.50, on sale for $8.50

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah... Tis the season to celebrate! Personally I think I am going to make the commitment to actually having a tree up this year! Two years ago I hung ornaments on the wall with a tiny Christmas tree quilt as we were displaced from Hurricane Harvey, last year I had a table top tree as we were just moving back in. Can't say I'm totally "settled" yet but am eager to pull down the "big" tree from the attic and my 40+ years of ornaments, many handmade. Yep - Tis the season to celebrate family! Thank you for being apart of my quilting family!
