Hello! Happy Weekend!

We are still recovering slightly from our trip out to NYC. What an amazing time for our family. This was my fourth stay in New York City, and each experience has been so very different. I shared quite a bit of our trip via my Instagram feed and story...if you didn't catch all of the stories, you can thank Instagram for adding a new feature called highlights that allows the account owner to save selected stories. My Favorite Things this week... After just getting home from NYC, I have to give a shout-out to a few of my favorite things when it comes to travel. I could not survive a full day of touring a new place - using my phone for navigation, taking photos, answering emails, and being active on social media - without a portable charger for my phone. This is the one I use (link HERE). I also always travel with this mini travel charger surge protector (link HERE), that includes 2 USB ports and 3 AC outlets. It's a life saver when you have four people with electronics staying in the same room...especially when traveling on a cruise ship, where there are even fewer outlets than a standard hotel room. I've even been known to use this gadget at home! One last travel item, these awesome ties (link HERE) are amazingly helpful. I use one to secure my backpack to my roller bag while walking through the airport, and keep an extra on hand for any other circumstance that may come along during travel.
