Lions Weekly: March 20, 2024

A Note From Mr. Sandefur

Lion Family,

As we anticipate the final days before spring break and the celebration of Easter, there is a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. Springtime brings with it a renewal of spirit and a fresh sense of purpose, and we are blessed to embark on this journey together as a school community. The season ahead offers us an opportunity to reflect on the blessings of the past, embrace the present with gratitude, and look forward to the promise of new beginnings.

Let us not forget the spiritual significance of this season. As Romans 15:13 reminds us, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." As we prepare to enter into spring break and Easter, may we trust in God's unfailing love and find joy and peace in His presence. Let us embrace the spirit of renewal and look forward to the abundant blessings that await us in the days ahead.

As we journey together towards the celebration of Easter, let us remember the true meaning of this sacred holiday. It is a time to rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who conquered sin and death so that we may have eternal life. As we reflect on the Easter story, may we be reminded of the hope and promise that Christ's sacrifice brings, and may it inspire us to live lives of faith, love, and service.

In Christ,

Jeremy Sandefur
President/Head of School
