Long time fans of high resolution audio will remember the Blue Coast Collection -- The E.S.E. Sessions on Blue Coast Records. Originally recorded to DSD and 2" tape, it was released more than 10 years ago as a surround sound album (5.1) and hybrid stereo SACD/CD.

In 2010, the Blue Coast Collection was also the first album recorded in DSD to be purchased and delivered as a download in the DSD format. Every breath, guitar pluck and foot tap can be heard. Recorded by Cookie Marenco and Jean Claude Reynaud in Extended Sound Environment (E.S.E.).
