With Clancy's acute awareness of anatomy and kinesiology, the workshop focuses on building a strong and sound physical body while stretching and strengthening performance aspects of focus, clarity and efficiency. Her high energy class uses athletic movement and dynamic floorwork to push each dancer to travel through the space. Artists interested in working with ClancyWorks are invited to use the workshop as an audition. The company looks for strong dancers with a background in contemporary/modern dance, an interest in partnering, and a curiosity in exploring ideas analytically as well as physically. Pre registration for workshop and audition required.
