An evening just for you: Client Appreciation Night at Dimensions

We love our clients – so we’re holding a special evening just for you!

On Wednesday, October 21, from 6:30 pm to 7:45, Dimensions is hosting a Client Appreciation Night. Join us for wine, nibbles, music, mingling, and an inspirational talk by multi-talented corporate trainer Bruce Mayhew.

We know that development seminars and art galleries don’t normally go hand in hand, but we think you’ll like this one: Bruce will be talking about time management, and giving us some practical tips on how to prioritize what’s important in our lives and fine-tune your work/life balance.

Please RSVP to art@dimensionsframing.com by Tuesday, October 6, and put “Client Appreciation Night” in the subject line so we know you’re coming.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Calling all photographers: SNAP! 2016 wants you!

The SNAP! Contemporary Photo Competition is now open for entries. Submit your photos now for a chance to have your work entered in the SNAP! 2016 silent auction, which will take place on Thursday, March 31, 2016. All proceeds go to support the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT).

Dimensions has been SNAP's live auction sponsor since the very first event, and this year Ellen and Wendy are thrilled to announce that they will be part of the jury!

Please help us welcome new artist Melanie Day!

British artist Melanie Day was born in Somerset England, and now lives and works in Toronto.

Her paintings draw on her remarkable visual memories of natural landscapes, and she usually begins where our eye naturally goes first – where the sky meets the land or a body of water. With oil paint on canvas, Melanie then uses an ages-old glazing technique to produce a soft, ethereal, moody effect blending light, dark, and colour.

Melanie’s work has been featured on Cityline, Steven and Chris, and The Marilyn Dennis Show, and has been included in several design magazines. She is a favourite among interior designers in Toronto and Chicago, and her work is included in many private collections. Her paintings have been exhibited with galleries in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Atlanta, and Mexico.
