"I pray you have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine God has been providing. Just makes me feel a whole lot better seeing it here in northern Ohio in the winter." "The word God gave me this week is “MENTOR.” God has blessed me with many fantastic “mentors” in my life so far. The definition is a wise and trusted counselor or teacher. Do we always listen to our “mentor?” Uhm…. not so much. Looking back at the times in my life that may not have gone as smooth as possible was probably those times I did not heed my “mentor’s” advice. “Mentor” – someone whose hindsight can be our foresight. They have walked the walk and lived the life. A pint of examples can be worth a gallon of advice. Watch very carefully at your "mentor’s” witness. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to find a “mentor” that will help you grown in your walk with God. Be a “mentor” to someone that may have lost their way. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to lead us to someone that needs a “mentor.” Our number one “mentor” is Jesus. We all need to follow in His footsteps showing love and compassion to those we meet. I pray we can all “mentor” someone at some point in our life. The benefits of being a “mentor” are so numerous. What an honor!" "Have a special, blessed week with “mentor” on your mind!" Don’t forget the example of your spiritual leaders who have spoken God’s messages to you, take a close look at how their lives ended, and then follow their walk of faith. ~ Hebrews 13:7 (TPT) | March Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am Join us at church or online via Facebook Live: Connecting Life We will continue to be guided by the health and safety guidelines set forth by the governor and the health department, so we require masks to be worn in our building at all times. We're excited to welcome you to Worship, in church and online! ~~~ | Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service ~ Thursday, April 1 from 7-8pm The Service of Tenebrae: Tenebrae is the Latin term for "shadows" and is a Holy Week tradition dating far back into the history of the Christian Church. It is characterized by the twelve disciples at the Last Supper, each one reading a brief passage by candlelight. The gradual loss of light is symbolic of the flight of the disciples. The moment of total darkness recalls the days Jesus spent in the tomb. This moving tradition prepares us to break out on Easter morn with great joy. | www.goodnessgrows4all.org Our Mission Statement: To cultivate personal, social, and community growth through gardening, education, and opportunity for people of all abilities. ~~~ | A Butterfly Hatched | Walking in the Woods | | | New Fish Friends | News of the Week This week we received a brand new, handmade butterfly house from our friend, Mike Ashby.
