We emailed you last month about the new Pensioner Bonds from National Savings and Investments (NS&I) and this email is to confirm they are now available, with effect from today.

We believe that demand will be high and we understand that initially NS&I are having some teething issues with online applications, so just be aware of this.

You can also apply by post and the above link will give access to a postal application or you can apply over the telephone on the freephone number 0500 500 000.

An NS&I spokesperson has confirmed that they expect these bonds to be available for months rather than weeks. Nonetheless, if you intend applying for either or both account then the best time to act is now!
