Introducing our Wonder Woman of the Day #5

This week we are taking over Girl Gang Manchester's Wonder Woman of the Day Twitter campaign and we will be profiling local women whom are making an impact in the community across Greater Manchester.

Rachel Roger and Jemma Tanswell: Reform Radio

As it's Friday and you've worked so hard this week we thought we thought we would treat you to not one, but TWO women for our 5th Wonder Woman Of The Day. Today's Wonder Women have been nominated by our WWOTD #4 Beena Khetani.

Beena says...

"Rachel Roger and Jemma Tanswell, are two of the three incredible founders of Reform Radio CIC. (the other founder is the wonderful Sam Oliveira but I can't nominate him as he's a boy!)

Reform Radio was set up in 2013 with a view to not only broadcasting incredible music but to also work with young people who may not be reaching their full potential by providing traineeships and workshops to give them a very real chance into the world of work.

We all hope, don't we, that some day we will make a difference to someone somewhere. Well, these guys are making a huge difference to the lives of many young people every day. And they are all very modest about it!"

See below to find out more about Reform Radio's work or take a peek at their website here.

Who inspires you? Come and share with us this week - Thurs 3rd & Fri 4th March, 11am to 7pm at Manchester Central Library, St Peters Square, Manchester, M2 5PD.
