Hello!
Happy Groundhog Day! I'm sure hoping the groundhog doesn't see his shadow today!

Just a reminder here about my Seeing with New Eyes Photography retreats scheduled for April. We're allowing boys this time! ;)

Quite a few Home Portraits were gifted this past holiday season and I share a couple of those here. Remember they're not just for homes!

And finally chocolate and cheesecake! Yum!

Stay warm until next time!

Registration Open for Spring Photography Retreats

New Skete OCtober

Just a few of the images created by the participants of the October beginners' retreat.

We're in the middle of winter but I've got my sights on April!

The Seeing with New Eyes Photography retreats that I will be leading are scheduled for the April 17-19 and April 22-24 at New Skete Monastery.

Imagine spending two days in a place of beauty and peace, away from the noise of the world, in community with five other photographers with uninterrupted time to play and learn with your camera.

The 2015 retreats were for women only but the April retreats are open to both men and women.

Everyone loved the location so much that we will be staying again at New Skete Monastery in Cambridge, NY.

April 17 – 19, 2016: Intermediate to Advance Seeing With New Eyes Photography Retreat

April 22 – 24, 2016: Beginner to Intermediate Seeing with New Eyes Photography Retreat.

If you'd like to read a bit about the retreats that were held this past summer and fall check out these blog posts. AND read what some of those participants had to say here.

A couple observations from participants of 2015 retreats:

"I was able to reconnect to the joy I used to feel when I was out shooting. I hadn't felt that in a long time and this retreat brought back that long lost feeling of exhilaration when you know you made a beautiful image....The grounds were absolutely beautiful and provided unlimited photography subjects for a 2 day retreat." Claudette Ferrone

"Gail's wealth of knowledge and ability to discern which information was relevant for the participants made this class very relaxing and enjoyable - not overwhelming. The way that the various elements of the workshop were woven together - education, Q&A, picture taking and critique sessions - were a perfect balance." Barb Trevvett
