The midwifery program at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a one-of-a-kind program for women in the Triad. It provides a holistic approach to pregnancy and women’s care, 24/7 certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) for births, and even a home-like birth experience at The Birth Center in Winston-Salem. CNMs coordinate prenatal care with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to advocate for each woman’s individual preferences and goals.
