"Such beautiful weather we are having here in Ohio! God blesses us with every good and perfect gift from above. I pray you are all doing well and are enjoying God’s blessings every day. Funny story about today’s Word. Before me and my husband got married, he wanted to show me where he used to live. It was a nice day for a ride, so I was all for it. As we traveled down some back roads, I noticed they were getting narrower – almost like a dusty dead-end road would look like. I said to him, “honey, did you live in the “wilderness”? He started laughing almost uncontrollably. To this day – he reminds me of that with a chuckle." "Which leads me right into our Word for this week, “WILDERNESS”. How many of us have had that “wilderness” feeling? I know I certainly have. That feeling of a dusty, dead-end, dry place that we sometimes find ourselves in. In those times, God is still there in the “wilderness.” The Holy Spirit is right there with us when we are wandering in the “wilderness.” Keep pressing on in that dry season. We need to surround ourselves with others in our “wilderness” times. We need to keep worshipping God in our “wilderness” times. The “wilderness” is not easy, but it is never the time to turn back. That next prayer or praise could be the Holy Spirit explosion of a lifetime! Stay close to God in every season and He will break away the “wilderness” into His glorious light. Pray with bold authority that we all have been given. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We can live from glory to glory. God’s desire is to always give him the glory and honor He so richly deserves. I pray our “wilderness” experiences will always lead us closer to God." He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his commands. ~ Psalm 25:9-10 (NLT) | Praise Team Performing Gospel Fest at the Columbiana County Fair ~ August 8 Starts at noon on the Midway Stage. Come visit the GG table in Columbiana this Saturday, from 1-4pm at the Block Party. We'll be there with Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam. For the first time in well over a year, our crew went on a shopping field trip. Cherries for jam were ready for us at White House Fruit Farm, so everyone piled into Miss Rachel's van and headed to Canfield. It was a fun excursion that ended with everyone picking out a special donut and soda pop to enjoy back at GG. It was definitely yummy! This week was full of weeding, harvesting, enjoying nature, baking, pesto making, and more. We even worked on shelf building to store our wonderful seed collection. With two events coming up (the Block Party on Saturday and the Youngstown Flea on the 14th), jam making was also an important task. Our crew did a great job working together to accomplish everything. | Check out our newest newsletter. | One of Our Sunflowers | Riding the Dust Mop | Making Jungle Jam | | | Jungle Jam & Juicy Jam Goodness Grows Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam are available in several flavors at Reach for the STARS in Salem.
